50 Cent is back!
After keeping himself off the music radar for some years now, and becoming a father to another son, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper is getting ready to finally make his return to the music scene.
He’s been planning to come back for some time now, but has had some difficulties with the business aspect of continuing his career.
He recently told HLN:
“It took me so long to get the business portion of music straight,” he explained in an interview with Sonic. “I went through an audit process ’cause [Before I Self Destruct] was the last record required for Interscope Records.”
50’s first project to come out in his comeback will be Animal Ambition, which should come out in the next few months or so.
He said of the project:
“The project is about prosperity,” he said of Animal Ambition. “I’ve got an interesting way of writing it. I wrote it from a distorted viewpoint. … The overall theme is ambition and prosperity.”
We already got a preview of 50’s new music on New Year’s Day, and it looks like we’re going to get a lot more soon!
