Just when we thought Clipse was back, G.O.O.D. Music rapper Pusha T declined to confirm a reunion with his brother No Malice.

Last week, news broke that two of hip-hop’s favorite duos Outkast and Clipse were planning on reuniting. While Coachella confirmed Outkast’s return to the stage after almost 10 years, Karen Civil confirmed Clipse would be returning to the studio to release an independent album.

Days later, Pusha T posted a picture of him and his brother on Facebook with a caption that read, “It’s Coming.”

Great! So Pusha and Malice are reuniting, right? Well, not so fast.

Over the weekend, Pusha T sat down with DJ Heat to discuss rumors surrounding a Clipse reunion. Surprisingly, fans didn’t get the answer they wanted to hear.

Pusha T stated:

“I never leaked anything about the Clipse. I didn’t do that. All I did was tell everybody I was in the studio for 20 days with Pharrell and Chad. And then there was a leak that happened and other people just found out that other people were down. But I wouldn’t do that. I wouldn’t do that. So, right now I’m on my Pusha T right now. I don’t wanna mislead nobody, but we just working.”

Back in December 2013, Pusha told Murder Dog Magazine:

“I would much rather be in a group now. I know my brother is in a very spiritual place. His belief is strong and he love[s] where he is, but I’m his younger brother and I am selfish. I don’t know if I want my brother to not be with me right now.”

Are you confused yet? Yeah, so are we, but what we can gather is that obviously the brothers are trying to figure out how they can reunite without compromising No Malice’s faith as a Christian.
