Over the past few years, Rick Ross has meticulously handpicked a diverse group of artists and DJs from various regions around the country to join his army-strength record label – Maybach Music Group.
MMG DJ/producer DJ Scream and Maybach’s newest signees Fat Trel and Tracy T stopped by GlobalGrind’s offices to promote their new projects and to chat about their relationships with the boss, Rick Ross.
During our time together, DJ Scream recalled the first time Rick Ross ever called him (it’s pretty boss-like), while DC rapper Fat Trel reminisced about the excitement surrounding his deal with Maybach.
DJ Scream’s forthcoming album, Hunger Pains, is scheduled to drop later this year. Fans of Tracy T can hear the Atlanta rapper on Rick Ross and Young Jeezy’s new collaboration “War Ready.”
