Lupita Nyong’o isn’t allowing herself to slow down in the wake of her Oscar win. The 31-year-old actress went straight from the red carpet to daytime TV, doing appearances on both Live with Michael & Kelly and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Lupita’s first stop after her win was a sit-down with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan to discuss life after her Oscar. Nyong’o hit the stage looking stunning as always in lime green shorts with a matching jacket. During her appearance, she revealed just how surreal it is to have won an Academy Award for her first movie ever.
She later reunited with Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres. Lupita hit the stage sporting a gorgeous all-over print tank top and black pants. She and Ellen chopped it up about her inspiring speech, her now-famous brother, Lupita’s new Hollywood friendships and her birthday.
The 12 Years a Slave actress has been absolutely killing it this award season, taking home countless statues and rockin’ the hell out of each and every red carpet she hit. Lupita shared her Oscar after party stories – at least, what she could remember of them – and revealed the major secret to sporting that gorgeous custom Prada gown.
