Will we see a more zen-like Kanye in the future?

According to Gossip Cop, Kanye West has been ordered to take anger management courses after he pleaded “no contest” to charges of assault against a paparazzo in July 2013. The rapper was also handed 250 hours of community service, two years probation, and one day in a county jail.

A grand theft charge against West was dismissed in exchange for the plea. The photographer, Daniel Ramos, asked the court to send West to jail, claiming that he was only doing his job when he questioned the rapper at LAX airport in Los Angeles last July, and that he’s still suffering with pain and fear of retaliation.

The rapper will also pay for Ramos’ medical bills and camera equipment. Ironically, when the incident occurred, Kanye predicted his own destiny after confronting Ramos:

“I told you not to talk to me right? What you’re trying to do is get me in trouble so I’ll have to pay you like $250,000,” he said.

Kanye is due back in court for a community service hearing on July 17 and a progress report is scheduled for September 17.

Earlier this year, ‘Ye found himself in a scuffle with an 18-year-old after the man reportedly hurled racial epithets at his fiancée Kim Kardashian. Yeezus and the man reached a civil settlement out of court.

Let’s hope Kanye isn’t on that Chris Brown plan…
