Weeks after the album was first announced, we finally have an idea of what Michael Jackson’s posthumous album, XSCAPE, will sound like: it sounds like it’s going to sound good.
XSCAPE’s title track was just released. While it’s being reported that the bulk of the album will be produced by Timbaland, this song was done by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, who worked with the singer on his last album, Invincible.
The new song features Michael’s classic smoothing voice, over a harder, modern-sound electronic beat. The song isn’t half bad.
