If you haven’t had enough of Donald Sterling, here’s something else to chew on.

The Los Angeles Clippers owner has agreed to sell the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for a record-breaking $2 billion. On Wednesday, Sterling’s attorney, Maxwell Blecher, released a statement to the press about the deal and Sterling’s negotiation with the NBA.

“Sterling has made an agreement with the NBA to resolve all their differences, and approved a deal negotiated by his wife, Shelly Sterling, to sell the team.”

Just last week, Sterling sued the NBA for $1 billion in federal court, alleging that the league violated his constitutional rights by relying on information from an ‘illegal’ recording, which featured the 80-year-old spouting racist rhetoric.

According to Sterling’s attorney, the suit will be dismissed. The NBA declined to comment on the matter Wednesday afternoon, but we’re sure it won’t be last time we hear from these two.

If Ballmer’s purchase of the Clippers is finalized, he will be the second Microsoft billionaire to own an NBA team. And we’ll finally get rid of Sterling’s shenanigans.

Hopefully.
