It’s that time of year again.
Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week has already got the ball rolling, premiering the most prestigious designers and the most fashion forward looks for the upcoming season. And although our eyes were glued to some of the latest trends on the runway, we couldn’t help but notice a couple of familiar faces walking around Lincoln Center this year.
Shay Mitchell was one of the first fresh faces that caught our eye. Backstage at the BCBGMAXAZRIA show, the Pretty Little Liars star gave face in a black and white oversized vest and collared blouse. The combo looked perfect paired with her gold tipped stilettos, tan skin, and messy bun.
Shay wasn’t the only one going for the black and white look, though. Celebrity stylist June Ambrose kept it very fashion forward in a pair of funky sunglasses and a printed dress. Meanwhile, Sarah Jessica Parker was channelling her inner Carrie Bradshaw, pulling off a beautiful blue printed dress at the Lexus fashion show.
Not to mention the girls of Orange is the New Black broke out of the women’s prison in style. Uzo Aduba looked elegant and chic at the HONOR show, while her cellmate and colleague Samira Wiley attended the Richard Chai show looking flawless.
