Nas‘ 1994 debut Illmatic is the greatest rap album of all time. And on the LP’s 20th anniversary, the album finally got the movie it deserves.

Directed by One9 and written by journalist Erik Parker, Time is Illmatic details the making of the classic debut by putting the album into context: in the documentary we see all the circumstances that led to Nas creating Illmatic. (Everything from Nas’ childhood struggles, to KRS-One dropping the Queensbridge-dissing “The Bridge is Over” is covered.)

The movie, which opened up the Tribeca Film Fest back in April, is finally hitting theaters. Today, you can watch the movie in New York City and L.A. But if you don’t live in one of these two cities, you can watch the film, tomorrow only, in select cities around the country. (The full list is here.)

If you can’t make it out tomorrow, you can stream or download the movie on iTunes and other streaming services starting on Friday, October 3rd.

So, basically, if you love Nas or Illmatic, there is no excuse for you not to see this movie.

In case you’re wondering what kinda stuff is in the documentary, check out a couple of exclusive clips that were left off the doc. One is of Alicia Keys, who is a big Nas fan, talking about the album. The other is of Q-Tip, who produced “One Love,” talking about the impact of the album’s cover.
