The situation with Amanda Bynes seems to be getting worse before it gets better. Apparently, the former Nickelodeon star is upset that her parents staged a ruse to get her help this weekend.
According to TMZ, the 28-year-old did not have a very strong relationship with her father, whom she also accused of abusing her last week, to begin with, but is extremely upset with her mother for involuntarily committing her. TMZ reports:
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … Amanda feels utterly betrayed and says her relationship with her parents is “destroyed forever.” Although she’s had a poor relationship with her dad, she had warm feelings for her mom … until Friday.
We’re told Amanda is in the women’s lockdown section of the facility … where she is showing fits of anger. Doctors are medicating her, but it takes time for the meds to kick in.
Amanda’s parents were able to get her 72-hour stay at a Pasadena mental facility extended to a 14-day stint as they as apply for conservatorship over the actress’ life. Sources told TMZ this is going to be difficult, since the actress has very strong hatred for her parents at the moment.
Amanda’s latest downward spiral began after she was pulled over for a DUI. She then relocated to New York, where she biked into traffic and announced she was engaged to a 19-year-old.
