Don’t know when we’ll be receiving Tha Carter V, but don’t fret, the Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape is coming soon.
Just a few months ago, Lil Wayne shocked the hip-hop community when he accused Birdman and Slim of holding his long-awaited album Tha Carter V hostage and admitted he wanted off Cash Money Records.
Lil Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant maintains everything is “good” at Cash Money Records, but with Tyga’s claims against the label and Lil Wayne’s recent statements regarding legal action against Birdman, nothing’s good over at YMCMB.
So in the meantime, Lil Wayne will release yet another mixtape.
Music industry exec Rahim The Dream made the announcement via Twitter this morning.

The Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape doesn’t have an official release date, but we hope Wayne drops this project sooner rather than later.
