Lil Wayne finally catered to his fans by releasing his new mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait 2, and it’s definitely been a hot topic this week.

Not only did the Young Money rapper release a new track with Drake on the project, but he blasted his Cash Money head honcho Birdman in the midst of their beef over the release of Wayne’s album The Carter V.

According to TMZ, Baby is pretty mad about the numerous lyrics that take shots at him, which sources close to him say is for two reasons – one being that he is trying to get out of his contract, and the other that he is putting out details of their long friendship on blast.

Since Weezy claimed to be a “one man army” against Birdman on the project, it looks like it’s brewing up an even bigger battle as the label head has no plans to release Wayne from Cash Money.

As previously reported, the two could end up in court, as Weezy has threatened a lawsuit if C5 is not released. Birdman will only be releasing the album on his terms, and will fight Lil’ Wayne if he tries to get out of his contract.

We’re sure all the longtime Cash Money fans are hoping these two will hash out their differences and release the music we all want to hear.
