If you’re not familiar with Bobby Brackins, it’s time to get to know him now.

The Cali rapper/songwriter is responsible for penning songs like Disney star Zendaya Coleman’s “My Baby,” Tinashe’s “2 On,” Chris Brown’s “Loyal,” and Ray J’s controversial smash “I Hit It First.”

The Oakland artist stopped by GlobalGrind’s offices to discuss his forthcoming new single featuring Zendaya and R&B crooner Jeremih. He also discussed the inspiration behind writing Ray J’s “I Hit It First” and dating unconventional women like strippers, and women with tattoos on their faces.

Keep an eye out for Bobby’s forthcoming project. In the meantime, watch our exclusive interview with the Bay Area musician up top.
