Cara Delevingne has great taste – in clothes and women.

Fashion’s most prized it-girl has been romantically linked to St. Vincent, a young musician who does not believe in labels, but instead identifies with sexual and gender “fluidity,” as she told Rolling Stone last year.

Cara was spotted with St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) at the BRIT Awards last month, was photographed with her again this past Tuesday, and US Weekly sources have reportedly confirmed that the two are dating.

There’s a good chance they’re just friends, but either way, they’d make a gorgeous couple.

Stay tuned.

Jordin Sparks has the acting bug.

Everyone loves Fox’s new hit show Empire, the same being true of Jordin, who recently revealed she wants a role on the series.

During an exclusive interview with E!, Jordin said she’s been lobbying for a cameo. The site dishes:

The 25-year-old said the show is “so good” and revealed she already knows several people on the cast.

She also shared her thoughts about the future of the musical drama, “With the way it’s going, I’m pretty sure they are going to have multiple seasons.”

Lee Daniels, are you reading this right now?

Speaking of Empire, the popular show – which stars an almost all-black cast – reportedly has the “highest regular broadcast drama” ratings of any show in that category since 2009.

The Wrap reports:

“Empire” grew yet again in both demo ratings and total viewers, with its 5.7 among those aged 18-49 being the top regular broadcast drama since a 2009 “Grey’s Anatomy.” The hip-hop soap opera hauled in 14.2 million total viewers; Fox finished first outright on Wednesday.

Fox was first in ratings with a 3.9 rating/12 share in the advertiser-coveted demographic and in total viewers with an average of 11.5 million, according to preliminary numbers.

And hopefully, the ratings will only get better.

Up until this very day, Halle Berry is still the only black woman to win an Oscar for “Best Actress.”

She recently dished her thoughts on the topic while speaking to The Guardian:

“I’m disappointed. I’m inspired though, when I see how many people of colour are doing such good work out there. The quality and value of our work isn’t determined by an award. I would like to see more of them recognised, absolutely, but we all need to find the win in the work, and doing our craft. The real win is when we’re not just selling stories of colour, that people of colour can be in everyday stories. Where we’re not saying: ‘These are the movies for black people.’”

Halle is currently filming the second season of her CBS show Extant. Thoughts?
