Kim Kardashian just dropped her selfie book, Selfish, so of course she’s been hitting the promo trail pretty hard to get the word out.

Not everyone is interested in her book however – especially not Anti-Fur Protesters, who showed up and harassed Kim as she signed copies of Selfish for fans at a NYC Barnes & Nobles bookstore.

The ambush is a little hard to watch, but as usual, Kim handled herself with style and grace.

On a more positive note, Kim recently spoke about Bruce Jenner‘s Keeping Up with the Kardashians special, which is all set to air on E! in a few weeks, saying that the family decided to show their reactions to Bruce’s secret to help other people who may be dealing with the same kind of situation.

Gossip Cop reports:

Kim tells “Entertainment Tonight,” “Our goal in sharing this is just to help other families going through with this. It’s not an easy transition, but we are so happy that he can live his life the way he wants to.” Bruce has said Kim has been the most “accepting” of his journey, something she is now clarifying. “You know, I think that everyone handles it differently, and just because I am super-supportive doesn’t mean that I haven’t felt every emotion possible like all my sisters,” she says.

The site goes on to dish:

And in a separate interview with “Extra,” Kim says, “There is a whole deeper side to this that we really, and Bruce especially, want to help inform other family members that are going through this [and show] that you can get through this. There might be some struggles, there might be different emotions. Every family member has a different reaction, but we filmed this at a time months ago when it was so raw, and Bruce was making this decision and we were helping him get through it, but he was helping us get through it. Our goal is just to help other families get through something similar, to really support each other, come together, [and to know] that they’re not alone.”

Kim further says Bruce “can feel the love and he can feel the support, and that makes him so happy” in the wake of going public last month. She also notes that she plans to “hook him up with designers” and find him a “glam team.” Watch both interviews below.

PETA may not be here for a few of the Kardashians, but the whole krew is valid in Katy Perry‘s book.

She recently told Entertainment Tonight:

“I was thinking the other day, we’ve all had our own commentary on the ‘Kardashians,’ but if Kardashians’ hadn’t existed, there wouldn’t have been the fantastic Bruce Jenner, who is just evolving everyone right now with all of his wonderfulness,” Perry told “Entertainment Tonight,” referring to the Olympian’s public transition from male to female. “So the Kardashians, in my book, are completely valid.”

While at the Met Gala on Monday, she also said of her Kris Jenner-inspired bob:

“Listen, Kris Jenner is very important to me,” said the pop star. “And that is not sarcastic at all. She has a great sense of humor and she’s kind of like the mother of everyone.”
