Two people are being treated at the hospital after being stabbed at Tufts University in Boston. Police have ordered students to remain indoors while they investigate.

Fox News reports:

Spokeswoman Kim Thurler says the stabbing occurred early Sunday morning on Professors Row, a street that runs through the Somerville/Medford campus.

Tufts has been primarily updating students through email and social media, first tweeting around 5 a.m. asking all students to go to a room, lock the door and stay away from windows. Thurler said that shelter in place is still active while police complete a search of the area.

Apparently, the victims were not affiliated with the campus and were stabbed at the Delta Tau Delta fraternity house.

Boston Globe reports:

The incident occurred inside the Delta Tau Delta fraternity house at 98 Professors Row in Medford, according to a statement by university spokeswoman Kim Thurler. She said the victims are not affiliated with the university and the crime “appears to be non-random.”

The two victims, she said, were taken to a local hospital.
