It’s been eleven months since TLC raised nearly $1 million to fund their last album. In January, T-Boz and Chilli created a Kickstarter page with the goal of raising $100,000 to create their fifth and final album.

The group made headlines when they exceeded their goal by raising $430,000 in a week. This included a $5,000 contribution from singer Katy Perry.

Now, the group’s loyal fans are wondering, where’s the music? How long will it take for the Grammy Award-winning living legends with four albums under their belt to get back in the studio?

According to their Kickstarter page, the album was supposed to be done at the end of 2015. On September 24th, the ladies posted an update saying the project has been pushed back until 2016. However, that’s not good enough for some fans, who were at least hoping to get a single, or a snippet of a single, before the end of the year.

“The song that we did with Dallas [Austin] that Lady Gaga did originally is a great song. It turned out really good. I don’t know. We definitely won’t throw it away,” said Chilli in an interview with Time Magazine back in January on working with the producer that created “Creep” and “Unpretty” for the group.

We can’t believe T-Boz and Chilli are sitting on a track with Lady Gaga! Releasing that collaboration would probably break the Internet.

“TLC got your money just like Pebbles got theirs,” one disappointed contributor tweeted.

With two months to go before 2016, maybe Chilli and T-Boz will gift us a new track for the holidays? Fingers crossed.

Check out some of the slander the group is getting below. Do you think it’s warranted, or should fans continue to be patient?
