The man being held in custody for November’s deadly shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood facility told the state’s judge that he wants to represent himself during his upcoming court trials and appearances.

A Colorado Judicial Department spokesman says that Robert Lewis Dear was ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluation to determine whether he is capable of being his own attorney. Dear was arrested on November 27th after allegedly killing three people, and wounding nine others, during a 5-hour police standoff at a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs.

Dear is still in custody without bail and it still remains unknown whether Dear will undergo the analysis ordered by the court, but he did mention he will not be cooperative. The next hearing is scheduled for February 24.
