Terrace Martin, the man behind most of Kendrick Lamar’s jazz-inspired instrumentation, releases a soothing new cut titled “Valdez Off Crenshaw.”
The jazz artist premiered his latest offering on Zane Lowe’s BBC radio show. Terrace’s “Valdez Off Crenshaw” arrives just 24 hours after he played the saxophone during Kendrick’s stunning Grammy performance.
GlobalGrind sat down with Terrace Martin almost a year before TPAB was released, and he explained in 2014 that Kendrick’s sophomore LP would change the landscape of hip-hop forever. He wasn’t lying.
