Earlier today, it was announced Meek Mill would be dropping the fourth iteration of his Dreamchasers series on the same day as Drake’s Views From the 6. This wouldn’t be wholly surprising, as Meek had previously rained on Drake’s parade by dropping a brand new EP on the same day Drake released “Summertime Sixteen.” The EP included “War Pain,” which turned about to be a response record to the disses Drake levied against Meek on “Sixteen.” To be honest, people’s heads are still spinning on how Meek was able to respond that fast, but that’s neither here nor there.

Then, not too long after the release news, someone from DatPiff said it was false.

This could very well be a case of someone letting the cat out of the bag. It could also mean the new mixtape won’t actually be released on the 29th.

The two have been embroiled in a heated battle ever since Meek took to Twitter to tell the world that Drake has ghostwriters. They’ve traded disses back and forth pretty regularly over the last six or so months, with Drake given the upper hand thanks to some rather comical disses on “Back to Back.” It doesn’t appear as if this beef will be slowing down anytime soon.
