Erica Garner, daughter of Eric Garner, was just one of the few who weren’t pleased with ABC’s Presidential Town Hall.

The social activist was seen walking out during the taping of the Town Hall segment when the network producers ignored her questions on air. Garner then released a video to the Huffington Post, saying “ABC is using black lives as a rating and to get paid. They guaranteed me that I would be asking the president direct questions about what’s going on. I was lied to.”

Garner also took it to Twitter to continue:

ABC released a statement on the controversy, “We took an extra 30 minutes to get to as many people as we could during the town hall. The President spoke to several people after the event ended, including at length with Erica Garner,” though Garner claims that wasn’t what she agreed on.

Meanwhile, the Garner family has joined together to create a song in memory of Eric and the recent police killings of Alton Sterlings and Philando Castille. Titled “I Can’t Breathe,” the song features a heartfelt verse from his brother Steven Flagg and his sister Ellisha Flagg on the vocals.
