The recent police standoff with Chris Brown has just come to an end, but things got infinitely more complicated after Breezy’s baby mother Nia Guzman‘s attorney, Carl Anthony Moore, told E! News that Brown and Guzman’s 2-year-old daughter Royalty Brown was with her father during the scary incident.

The lawyer continued that the toddler was taken to school this morning but once news broke of the incident Guzman picked her up and brought her to a “safe place” away from the madness at Chez Breezy.

Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, quickly denied the claim, telling E!, “That is categorically untrue. She wasn’t and isn’t here.”

Interestingly, Guzman backed up his story, personally taking to Instagram to respond to a report by TheShadeRoom:

That’s a relief. But, regardless, Brown’s arrest on charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon could have some serious implications on who has custody over the young girl.

Despite their strained relationship, Guzman and Brown currently share joint custody, but that is likely to change following his most recent legal troubles.
