Natalia Kills “Activate My Heart’ (NEW VIDEO)

Dark, dangerous, solemn and alluring.

Natalia Kills is no stranger to GlobalGrind, around two months ago we gave Natalia Kills a spot in our New School of Pop Stars.

Natalia was taken into Cherrytree – a wing of Interscope founded in 2005 by Martin Kierszenbaum – which is known for developing artists such as Lady Gaga, Robyn, La Roux, Feist, Sting, Far East Movement and Die Antwoord. Cherrytree encouraged her to find a name that was more direct and descriptive.

The beat is reminiscent of an industrial park. The lyrics (of an actual robot trying to feel), and the video could have been directed by a younger Rob Zombie, which is curious considering her first single was called ‘Zombie.’All of this gets wrapped up into a girl that resembles a raven-haired version of Lady Gaga
