If your reading this I’m sure it’s because you like me have become obsessed with reality television. There is nothing better than after a long day at work cozying up on the couch with yummy snack and your favorite TV show.

But for the past six months and a few extra pounds later, I am finding an underlining theme with all my favorite shows, THEY ARE ALL ABOUT WIVES. Literally everything I watch is about someone’s wife/ girlfriends, someone who’s sleeping with a man that has a wife, and I just read that VH1 just wrapped a show about Hip-Hop wives/ girlfriends. I really can’t deal with this — but dammit I’m addicted.

I recently had a conversation with my friend about my enjoyment of reality T.V. He trashed my taste in show choices and asked “How is a working woman addicted to a life that feeds of the success of a man?None of these woman WORK.” and that is fact guys!

What message are these shows sending our kids- our daughter, sisters, nieces. When I was growing up, I watched Moesha, she graduated from high school and went to college, hell even Gina worked in Martin- with that being said if the youth is our future  what are we perpetuating to them?

Again these are just my thoughts and I really want to know what you guys think.
