Hello again all my Global Grindlings!!
There’s always been controversy over whether or not it’s ok to refer to a woman as a B*tch either playfully or as an insult. I honestly never really felt any particular way about it until this guy at a movie casting flat out called me a B*tch…TO MY FACE! I was an exhale away from catching a charge when it dawned on me. He was upset because I am a self assured woman, if you ask me to do or say anything that will compromise my morals or values the answer is NO. I don’t need to think about it, we don’t even need to bargain or negotiate. So ok that might make me seem a little B*tchy, but it does not give anyone the right to disrespect me!

Why is it when we don’t agree with someone our first response is to attack a person’s character? When that guy disrespected me, I did the exact opposite of what he expected. I ignored him and went on with my business. In my opinion ignoring someone is basically a way of saying ‘you aren’t even worth my attention, and I refuse to lower my standards to your level.’

Ladies, disrespect is disrespect no matter what word or action someone uses to relay it. Male or female it is NEVER okay. Any man that disrespects you cannot or will not love you. Any woman that disrespects you does not respect herself as a woman. If we would only try to respect each other and talk out our issues maybe we could learn the real reason that caused the disagreement in the first place.
