NOAH has the Funk of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the music energy of Rage Against the Machine, the soul of Marvin Gaye, but still a unique original sound,’ said NME.

It’s an accurate description of his music and also directs you towards the varied life he has lived. He toured with a cabaret act with his father at the age of nine; he was the Welsch Amateur Middleweight Champion at the age of 17; he won the World-Break Dancing Championships; won battle of the bands competitions with a jazz-funk group; and toured with Slayer, Lenny Kravtiz, and Puddle of Mudd while fronting the rock band Ellis; oh yeah, not to mention, he was in the priesthood.

Time Out boasted Noah for being ‘a better singer than David McAlmont and Seal put together.

If that isn’t enough to make you curious about his sound, let’s take a look at the list of collaborations for his upcoming album: Wu-Tang Clan’s Killa Bees, Prodigal Sunn and Shyheim, Killing Joke, Dillinger Escape Plan, Denaun Porter and Royce Da 5’9” from Slaughterhouse, and ex-All Saint Mel Blatt.

Production and mixing by Andy Wallace (Run DMC/ Aerosmith, Nirvana, Rage against The machine and The Foo fighters) Bob Clearmountain (Nine Inch Nails, The Who, The Cure, David Bowie), Mike Fraser (ACDC, Metallica, Slipknot) Denaun Porter (Eminem, Dr Dre, 50 Cent& D12) and Chris Kimsey (The Cult, INXS, Yes &The Rolling Stones.)

Some of Noah’s music leaked and it resulted in a YouTube explosion of over 40,000 views in just 48 hours, which garnered the official YOU TUBE badge for the Top 100 MOST VIEWED videos.

The utter variety in his life, collaborations and producers is relatively mind blowing. To check out what NOAH is sounding like, you can see his live debut at Le Poisson Rouge (8pm) on Saturday featuring Prodigal Sunn, Shyeim and the Wu-Tang Killa Bees as part of the CMJ Music & Film Festival.
