INSPIRING: Best Friend Keeps Fallen Soldier Promise
<p>Barry Delaney, 25, and Afghanistan hero Kevin Elliott made a promise that if one of them died, then the other would wear girls’ clothes to the funeral.</p> <p>Grief-stricken Mr Delaney kept his word and attended his friend’s service in a fluorescent yellow dress, pink stockings and black leather boots.</p> <p>’Kevin’s family knew about it and agreed that it was OK for Barry to turn up like this, even though it was a bit bizarre.</p> <p>Roll Of Honour 2009 All the servicemen and women who lost their lives in Afghanistan in 2009.</p> <p>Hundreds lined the town’s streets as the brave 24 year old was buried with full military honours at Barnhill Cemetery, Broughty Ferry.</p> <p>CLICK ORIGINAL STORY FOR MORE</p>
