Shakira was smiling as she landed in LAX yesterday to prepare for her appearance on American Idol. Flying in from Miami, Florida, the Colombian singer is scheduled to perform on this week’s American Idol along with country music group Rascall Flatts. The two will be performing ‘Gypsy’ together. Shakira was recently confirmed as a performer to play at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK.
According to festival organizer Emily Eavis ‘Shakira is not only an amazing pop star, but also socially and politically forward thinking.she’s working incredibly hard for good causes around the world.’
She will be joining a line up that included Stevie Wonder, U2, Dizzee Rascal, Hot Chip, Vampire Weekend, Mos Def, and Snoop Dogg.
