Mark Borden of Fast Company recently TwitPic’d this terrifying picture of a rented and decommissioned missile that protesters of the Ground Zero Mosque are driving around the Islamic community center site, today.
Many people are protesting the building of a Mosque near Ground Zero, which would be apart of a $100 million Islamic community center, which is located two blocks away from where the World Trade Center towers once stood.
The construction of this mosque has sparked a debate around the nation with President Obama stating that Muslims have a right to build the mosque and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg being a strong supporter. However, there is strong opposition from Repubilcans Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich as well as the Jewish civil rights group the Anti-Defamation League.
