Hi Global Grind! It’s @JENNIJWOWW again!

I was born in upstate New York, in Saratoga, which is just outside of Albany, and I currently live in Long Island. At the end of the day, I’m still the exact same person that I was last year.

I’m a sweats-and-a-t-shirt kind of girl. That’s me. Before, I only did my make-up before I went out, and I kept it the same. I kept it original. The majority of the time, I get ready by myself. I only put on coverup and concealer if I’m in front of cameras, because that’s what you have to do to keep that shinyness away. I’m not gonna change anything about myself. But I like it when people who don’t know me think that I’m catty and mean, and then when they meet me, they see that I’m the nicest person in the world. I can prove that the only thing different about me is that I’m organized now.

My dad made it so I would never want to rewind, and re-do my life over. He raised me in such a great way. He really kept me grounded. I’m able to accept flaws, and likes and dislikes, and still keep that positive outlook on everything. I give it a lot to that small town upbringing.

I just figured I’d give trying out for Jersey Shore a shot. After a while, you don’t notice the cameras, at all. You just become natural in front of them. I was used to it, and I loved every second, but it’s weird, seeing myself of TV. Sometimes I’m not able to watch myself.

My promotional company and graphic design freelance company, are the biggest things I ever expected to come from the show, but I’ve been able to experience stuff that I’d never thought I would experience, like being able to go to the MTV Movie Awards and having a second run on the Jersey Shore – which I never thought I’d do in a million years.

Having an education prior to being on the show just gave me endless possibilities, but coming from a small town and everything, I really wasn’t expecting to go nationwide with my business, but being on the show, now I’m able to go nationwide. I can say that the show gave me that.

One of the other great things about being on Jersey Shore is that I get to meet fans of the show. A couple of young girls have told me “You’ve allowed me to take up for myself,” which made me incredibly happy.

Even though I got used to being in front of the camera, when I see people I knew before I starred on Jersey Shore, it’s kind of weird. I went to my great-aunt’s funeral a month ago, and my family was like I need pictures with you, I need new pictures of you. I was like, “Dude, are you serious?”

It’s really cool when celebrities, like Leonardo Dicaprio and Jennifer Aniston, come up to us and saying that they were fans of the Jersey Shore, too. We were secretly hyped, but we held together.

One celebrity I haven’t met but would love to
