Lauren London was one of my highlights last night at the BET Awards. I bumped into Lauren London on the Red Carpet and again backstage and her smile lit up the room. Her aura was felt by all around her and her realness was recognized. While walking the red carpet she got pulled away from one up and coming reporter due to her duties for the live show. Lauren London promised she would come back, and come back she did. In a few minutes @MsLaurenLondon came over to the side of the red carpet and spoke with the reporter sayinh ‘Hey I promised you I’d come over’ while flashing her million dollar smile. She talked about how her child is her number 1 priority, and how she wants the oil spill to be cleaned up.
After the interview I spoke with Lauren London, introducing myself as one of the editors of Global Grind. She told me a few things about myself and how it was a pleasure to finally put a face to the twitter name BLOGXILLA. She also told me that these days we all become our twitter names. Which is oh so true. It’s little small moments like this that define our personality. These single serving conversations will be remembered forever. Keeping your promise to a young reporter at her first awards, and remembering the people who had your back when the world was coming down on you hard, it’s those qualities that make you amazing and make Lauren London one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. Bottom line… Khloe Kardashian’s BFF is pretty damn cool.
