After a long haitus, Nelly is officially back on top. ‘Just A Dream,’ the first single from his upcoming album Nelly 5.0, peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his highest charting single since ‘Grillz’ in 2005. For latest leak from 5.0, entitled ‘Long Gone,’ Nelly has enlisted the help of Chris Brown and Plies (who delivers a typically hilariously crude verse). The track has a definite 80s sound, sampling ‘Let’s Start Love Over’ by Miles Jaye. This is the type of fun party-rap that Nelly made his name on, and he’s still one of the best doing it.
