You may not know him by name, but chances are if you own a TV you’ve seen and heard Brooklyn-based emcee Wordspit, as he currently appears in a national TV and radio ad campaign for McDonalds. Wordspit prides himself in being a different kind of rapper. Though his subject matter can be light – his smash “Joystick Madness” is about a game of Street Fighter – Wordspit is without a doubt a serious emcee – citing such lyrical beasts as Nas and Canibus as influences.
