It’s been a crazy week in the political arena, from radio show host Lou Dobbs being accused of hiring undocumented workers to Jay-Z being targeted as a criminal by the Miami Police Department. With FAILS of this magnitude all around, this is this week’s Political FAILS.

Lou Dobbs, the former CNN anchor who over the years has been infamous for his hard-line stance on immigration was called out by ‘The Nation’ magazine to answer allegations that he hired undocumented workers on his property.

So Dobbs is now on trial by the court of public opinion, is he a hypocrite? Are ‘The Nation’s’ allegations true?

By watching Dobbs debate against the allegations it’s safe to believe that he didn’t knowingly know that he had indirectly hired undocumented workers. But still Dobbs FAILS because if you put yourself out there as a public figure that has a hard stance on immigration you should know who is working for you. Sorry Lou, but you should have checked his papers and you’ve become a victim of your own rhetoric.

Miami police department did something very stupid the other day, to have their citizens report gang activity the MPD put out caricatures of a group of people looking like a gang. Where they FAIL is when they decided to use a picture of Jay-Z as if Jay is in a gang.

The MPD came under some heat for that one.

So was this racist or just a big misunderstanding? What if they had put “terrorist activity” and put a caricature of Obama in a Muslim garb? The fact is MPD gets a FAIL on this one because Jay isn’t a gangster the dude was on the cover of Forbes magazine with Warren Buffet. Most likely a misunderstanding, but nevertheless MPD gets a FAIL on this one.

Ricky Sanchez, another former CNN anchor came under fire for something he said. Sanchez made controversial comments on a Sirius radio show Thursday, calling Jon Stewart a ‘bigot’ and saying that CNN and the other networks are all run by Jewish people. REALLY?!??!

Not a good look, this type of thing always get boiled down to free speech, but the fact is you can say what you want and let your feelings be known but be prepared for the consequences that your speech will have.

Sanchez was fired
