What’s good this is Hip Hop Jesse, from the Upper East Side, and I want to put you on to some new music. The cool dudes over at Mashup-Germany have brought us another mashup and this one is no ordinary mashup! It’s fire! This one contains eight different artists instead of normal mashups which mostly have two artists. It’s like the Wu-Tang Clan of mash ups. The artists in “The Wavin’ Flag” mashup include K’naan, Kings of Leon, Matisyahu, Whitney Houston, Counting Crows, Gentleman and Jamaram.
This mashup gives you a jungle sort of African feel. Also, K’naan sings like Matisyahu so they sound amazing together. It’s like when I’m eating some matzah ball soup while watching MTV Jams on my plush leather couch. The Kings of Leon song “Use Somebody” is also in this mashup and it sounds great going in between K’naan and Matisyahu.
This mashup is one of the best I have ever heard because all the artists blend with each other and Mashup-Germany does a great job by transferring to each song at the right time.
