**NEW MUSIC** THE ROOTS feat. JOHN LEGEND ‘Do It Again’
‘How I Got Over’ is the upcoming release from Philadelphia’s hip hop band The Roots. The release will mark the group’s 9th studio album and is set to drop June 22nd. ‘Do it Again’ seems to be a leak off of the album, it comes shortly after The Roots released their second single entitled ‘Dear God 2.0’. ‘Do It Again’ samples John Legends vocals off of a song on the crooners album Once Again of the same name. Legend is heard again on the album when the band teamed up with the singer for the track ‘The Fire’. On the track ‘Do It Again’ The Roots do not disappoint, it’s filled with the usual Roots delivery of Black thought’s powerful rhymes and ?love’s vibrant drumbeats in the background.
