In spirit of Father’s Day, we here at GG wanted to take a look back at the songs that make us think of our fathers. We have our Luther Vandross ‘Dance With My Father’ type songs, but what about those songs that make us think of our dads, but not in the right way. The songs that make us think of our ‘daddy’ but the other type of daddy. The fun ‘daddy.’
Referring to your man as your ‘daddy’ or ‘papi’ can be cute on any given day, but on Father’s Day these lyrics just don’t seem right. I’m all about cutesy nicknames for your significant other, but I’m definitely not trying to call my man something that makes me think of my dad.
