It seemed that the American automotive industry was on a steady decline. We weren’t interested in our own cars anymore and were much more comfortable behind the wheels of the latest Honda or Prius. But those cars aren’t the bold and loud cars of yesteryear that make statements with our arrival. What we were missing was the muscle car; the manly man’s car that warrants the driver attention from nearly every passerby. Well, with the success of the Dodge Charger and Ford Mustang (two car make and models that retrofitted their new car technology and mechanics to an old school look) America is seeing the production of a lot more muscle cars on the road. And our friends over seas are starting to create some pretty worthy competitors too. Take a look at the newest muscle cars to hit the market.
This is the 2010 Dodge Mopar Challenger which is priced modestly at $39,000. This car is powered by a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine with cold air intake and Katzkin leather seating. Only 500 of these are being made so you may want to head on over to the car lot and inquire now about being a lucky driver!
