Looks like Wale is having the same problem Drake had with The Weeknd.

Wale’s collaborative partner singer/songwriter Tiara Thomas was launched into the spotlight when Wale’s Folarin mixtape track “Bad” went viral.

Over the past few years, Wale and Tiara have collaborated on numerous projects like Wale’s 2010 More About Nothing mixtape. With the success of Wale’s “Bad,” Tiara decided it was her time to leave Wale’s creative team and embark on her own career at Interscope Records.

Upon hearing the news, Wale and his team were not happy about Tiara’s departure. When asked about Tiara signing to a major label, Wale responded:

“It’s all good. Shout out to Tiara Thomas and her new situation.”

He goes on to say:

“No, it’ll take a while for me to do that again. I got trust issues already. I was trying to do something special off loyalty, and based on that, I realized that everybody looking out for themselves. I need to start looking out for myself. I got artists that I am helping but it will never be at that capacity again.”

Hopefully, Wale and Tiara will repair their damaged friendship and work together again.
