Ms. Apple is back!
After releasing her 2012 album, The Idler Wheel…, getting arrested in Texas, and canceling her tour to grieve the death of her beloved dog, fans haven’t heard much from Fiona Apple.
But it’s a new year, and the 35-year-old singer/songwriter has decided to rise out of seclusion with a brand new video for her song “Hot Knife.”
Directed by Fiona’s ex-boyfriend Paul Thomas Anderson, the dark cinematic video features the “Every Single Night” singer banging on a huge bass drum as she sings the telling lyrics of “Hot Knife.”
“Hot Knife” is off Fiona’s fourth studio album, The Idler Wheel…, which is available at a music retailer near you.
There’s no word if Fiona is planning to reboot her once-canceled tour, but anything is possible.
