Here comes the bride, all dressed in – a lacy two-piece?
Chrissy Teigen, is no novice to a racy bikini or lingerie and has taken her bikini modeling talents down South – to Miami as she presented her collection of Bridal Swimwear during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim last Friday.
The former Victoria’s Secret model turned bikini designer mashed up with swimsuit line Beach Bunny to create the celebratory suits using fellow Sports Illustrated cover mate, Kate Upton as the face of the photo campaign.
The bride-to-be, whom will be walking down the aisle to John Legend this fall, gushed to People Magazine regarding drawling inspiration for bridal swimwear collection from the anticipation of the upcoming Honeymoon with her crooner fiancé:
“We are returning to the Maldives during our honeymoon. . . . I want to wear a bathing suit for my husband that makes me feel sexy. I know other women feel the same way, so I was inspired to design a line.”
The photo spread for the collection shot on the breathtaking beaches of Belize, highlight Teigen’s bridal bikini designs which are adorned with lots-o-lace, share cobalt hues echoing that “something blue” needed for the big day, and also sexes things up a bit as the word “Bride” is so thoughtfully etched across the bikini bottom in Swarovski crystals.
Teigen and Beach Bunny are slightly teasing us by publishing the campaign photos now, considering the items are not on sale until September, but for those who are thinking like the model and prepping for fall nuptials – you’re in luck with some great bikini Bridal Shower gifts.
