Talk about going goo-goo, ga-ga.

As countless non-royals were swooning while watching Baby Cambridge [now formally identified as George Alexander Louis] make his noble debut to the world, some were working swiftly to identify the princely garb worn by the impending heir and Mama Kate Middleton.

Eager commoners yearned to get a taste of the majestic life by purchasing the baby-blue polka-dot dress worn by Middleton and designed by fellow Brit Jenny Packham. Minutes after the label was linked to the dress it began trending on Twitter, and a full-on frenzy broke loose. But it looks like the label had nothing in store for shoppers, considering the frock was a custom design for the Duchess.

However, finding out the bloody devastating news didn’t stop the millons of Middleton copycats from crashing the designer’s website as they rushed to get the look. And in even worse news, the label’s brand director, Blaire McColl is now confirming there are NO plans to make it available for purchase despite the overwhelming demand.

The race to royalty didn’t stop with Kate as little George who was wrapped in a G.H. Hurt and Son luxe wool christening shawl during the baby’s debut, is also on backorder. The shawl made of crocheted super-fine merino wool could be yours for $68, but head over to the site now since it may take a while for the brand to fulfill your order.

Additionally, the baby swaddle blanket spied on the newborn while in his car seat was identified as an item from Aden + Anais collection of Swaddle Packs. The affordable “Jungle Jam” blankies, priced at $49.95, are entirely sold out in the UK but lucky expectant mothers across the pond can snag them on their US site.

And another bonus for those mommys-to-be, the Britax B-Safe infant car seat and baby carrier is also up for grabs as it retails at $136 and is widely available at various baby retailers. Considering the popularity of the other items, stock will likely last for a limited time only, so be sure add it to your bundle of joy’s royal collection soon.

Not even a week out the womb and everything George touches turns to sold! We wonder what item will sell out next!
