Last week’s episode of True Blood left us with a death toll of two, but if you watched this week’s episode, you would know that the toll has risen to three. Congrats True Blood, you have finally set a new record!

We ended knowing that Nora did not stand a fighting chance to live, but we also learned that not even Billith’s blood is a cure for such a disease as Hep V. But we have to wonder if Warlow’s blood is the cure. Only time will tell if that is the case and if it is, will he share?

Back to reality where the contaminated Tru Blood has not been distributed and the citizens are not happy with Nora’s death. Nora’s death makes Eric weak and Billith seizes this opportunity. He comes up with a plan to have Eric take Warlow’s blood when he meets the sun in the white circular room, which seems like a good idea.

With her man candy gone, Sarah Newlin has decided that it is her job to follow out Burrell’s plans in Vamp Camp. First order of business, rip Jason Stackhouse of all his duties in Vamp Camp (emphasis on the “rip”). Sarah has a guard cut Jason’s arm and then tosses him over to the Gen-Pop for captive female vampires to feed on him.

Mini-alliances start to take place in the Gen-Pop holding area Vamp Camp, finally! First to form is, but of course, Willa and Pam. Willa decides it’s the right time and place and tells Pam about the Tru Blood contaminated with Hep V. After hearing such news, Pam decides that it would be a good idea to keep that to themselves.

Willa is true to her word to keep her lips sealed, but Jessica doesn’t. She opens like a can of worms to the sexy vampire she was almost forced to have sex with last week before finally hooking up with him on her own terms.

Jessica defends her actions by saying how “good” and “decent” he is, but we can’t help but feel this will nip Jessica in the tush later on. On the other hand, Pam seems to have someone whipped – the psychiatrist – as the two of them are about to have sex.

With Terry’s death hitting hard, Arlene does not know how to grieve. She starts with telling her kids the news, but ends with lashing out at Lafayette and getting so drunk she can’t tell reality from drunken dreams. How sad.

Too soon for Arlene to face the reality that Terry is gone, she ends up sending Sookie and Lafayette to find out what was in Terry’s safety deposit box. With all bad comes some good, as Sookie and Lafayette find that Terry left Arlene $2 million in anticipation of his death.

Bill and his surprise unannounced visits to people’s homes. Sookie’s? No, this time he makes his way to Terry and Arlene’s home. And this time it is not a visit of wrath, evil, or terror. He sort of makes peace with Andy over the killing of his children and gives his best to Arlene. But of course it is information from Sookie that he actually came for.

He wants to know where Warlow is and that is exactly what he gets out of Sookie. Bill convinces her to tell him the truth about Warlow.

It’s back to Nicole and Sam for the ending of this week’s episode. We started where we ended off with them on the road. Once the news of Terry’s death meets Sam’s ears, he and Nicole go their separate ways so he can attend to Arlene.

Nicole ends up going home with her mother, but they are met by Rikki, who captures them along the way. You’re a liar, Alcide!

This episode leaves us with many unanswered questions and with more anticipation for next week. Only time will tell what relationships will form and which will sadly come to an end. Will the death toll rise to magic number four? Or will it stay at three for a comfortable amount of time?
