Tameka Foster has been through a lot as a mom.
She’s lost one son in a tragic jet ski incident and most recently, her 5-year-old nearly drowned to death in a pool. That’s definitely enough to sadden the strongest of people. But while speaking on the latest accident, Tameka’s focus was mostly on Usher Raymond V’s health and strengthening her rights to custody as a mom in the near future.
Tameka also admits that she does not blame Usher for what happened – he wasn’t there when their son’s hand got caught in the drain at the bottom of the pool – but also makes it clear, it wouldn’t have happened had she been there. She explained to Good Morning America’s Dan Abrams:
“I didn’t blame him for it. I was just angry that it happened on his watch. Never have my children been injured on my watch.”
Like we said before, these kind of tragedies more than shake a person… especially a mom. Hopefully Usher and his ex-wife can come to a better agreement that makes both parents comfortable. Check out the very candid interview below:
