Chris Brown went on an angry Twitter rant in connection to his assault case yesterday. The singer blasted the legal system and L.A. County prosecutors as “racist.”
Damn!
Breezy may have kept calm and cool in court last week as he agreed to take on an additional 1,000 hours of community service to resolve a dispute over his felony probation, but inside, a storm was brewing! Later, Chris let it all out Kanye-style, sharing his feelings of anger via social media.
Nigga done 6 months community service wit police and the DA racist ass crying to the judge that I didn’t do it. Fuck the SYSTEM!

There are a few stipulations to the deal; Chris can’t just do any old service he wants. The judge offered the 24-year-old options as to how he could lend a hand: Chris can fulfill his debt by doing freeway trash removal, beach clean-up, graffiti removal (which we all know he loves!) or maintenance/janitorial work for the L.A. county probation department.
Mark Geragos, the lawyer representing the singer, said he agreed to the new hours under the assumption that the judge was “making no finding that there has been any violation of probation.”
This finding disappointed the L.A. county DA, who has been gunning for revocation of Chris’ probation. If the judge had found him guilty, he could have been facing jail time or had to repeat the 180 days of community service which he had already completed.
Prosecutors believe that Chris lied about completing his community service by washing police vehicles, cleaning police horse stables and doing janitorial work at a day care center in Virginia, where he’s originally from. They claim to have found inconsistencies in his work logs. They also brought up Chris’ alleged hit-and-run which occurred last May, saying he likely broke the law.
We hope that things work out for Chris and he can wipe the slate clean after completing his sentence – once and for all.
