Ah, parting is such sweet sorrow!

Chris Brown has officially decided to dead his graffiti monsters outside his L.A. home.

Though Breezy fought the good fight, he lost the battle. The city of Los Angeles came to Chris in May regarding the artwork, asking that he remove it from the plastered exterior walls of his home; Brown insisted that they were protected under his first amendment right, you know, the right to deface your own home.

Neighbors submitted many complaints to the city about the art, claiming they were an eye sore and, according to TMZ, a “blight on the block.” The city seemed to agree and threatened Chris with hefty fines.

As of today, the wall has been coated with a fresh layer of paint. Don’t think the wall’s new paint job means Breezy gave up! Sources told TMZ Chris only painted the wall because he wanted to, not because the city was threatening him.

Maybe this is a sign that Breezy is just not about that life anymore. The “Fine China” singer recently kicked it with a bunch of kids at a high school to help give back to the community.
