Scooter Braun, who manages pop star Justin Bieber, will not be joining the judges panel on American Idol. He reportedly sees no point in participating in the show.
“The only reason to do it at this point is vanity and he doesn’t do things for vanity. Without the right to manage the acts, it makes no business sense for him and ultimately he’s a business guy,” a source close to Braun told TMZ.
Jennifer Lopez and many of the show’s producers made the move to get Scooter to sign on with American Idol, but their efforts were futile. Braun would want to play a role in the careers of the contestants and that has been made impossible because of Simon Fuller’s deal.
Sigh. Another one bites the dust. Who do you think American Idol should seek out next?
