Amanda Bynes‘ odd behavior might currently be in the process of being monitored from a psych ward at UCLA, but it hasn’t stopped her from thinking of her future.

The 26-year-old former Nickelodeon star was working on music before she was sent to the psych ward, and it looks like she’s still thinking about going into the industry.

According to Radar Online, Amanda is currently negotiating a record deal from the ward with Chinga Chang Records.

Daniel Herman of the label told the site:

“I’ve talked with Amanda a few times and she wants out. She sounded normal, lucid, chill and focused,” Daniel told Radar.

“My record offer to Amanda has not changed one bit in terms of the vision. Part of hip hop is not only struggling, but how one gets out of them. And that is what makes great music!”

“I believe Amanda can work out her issues outside of a treatment center and I’m willing do anything in my power to make that a reality…even fund it,” he says.

“Lynn knows I care about Amanda getting better before we hit the studio. I’m a fan. But so far no word back from Lynn.”

Initially, Daniel offered $200,000 to Amanda to sign a deal, but now he’s raising the stakes to $250,000 to help pay for her medical bills as well.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, even though we hope Amanda stays focused on getting better!
