And the M.I.A. vs. the NFL saga continues.

It’s been 18-months since Madonna, Nicki Minaj, and Sri Lankan rapper M.I.A. took over Super Bowl 2012, and M.I.A.’s middle finger scandal is still haunting her.

The “Paper Planes” rapper has been slapped with a $1.5 million lawsuit from the NFL, stating “breach” of contract and tarnishing the goodwill and reputation of the NFL with her middle finger antics.

In a video that she released to Wiki Leaks, M.I.A. speaks on how she thinks the lawsuit is completely ridiculous.

“The NFL thing is completely ridiculous. It’s been making me laugh for a while, but now it’s so boring, I don’t even laugh anymore….Now they’re scapegoating me into figuring out the goal posts on what is offensive in America. Is my finger offensive or is an underage black girl with her legs wide open more offensive to the family audience?”

M.I.A. also goes on to say the lawsuit is a “massive waste of time and money” and the NFL wants her on her “knees and say sorry so they can slap me on my wrists.”

The NFL isn’t the only organization M.I.A. is beefing with. The “Bad Girls” rapper is also beefing with her label over the release of her delayed Matangi album. The album was scheduled for a spring 2013 release, but has since been pushed back until November 2013.
