We’ve been waiting for these baby blue eyes to sell a little something more than a wildly successful eyelash line! Katy Perry has officially been tapped as the newest face of CoverGirl in a long awaited venture.
The songstress shared the news via her Twitter account, which seemed like the most practical way to get in touch with her 45 million plus followers. Before showing off her new CoverGirl image, Katy tweeted:

She let the light in, and now we can obsess over her CoverGirl moment! Katy joins the ranks of Beyonce, Queen Latifah, Drew Barrymore, Janelle Monae and Taylor Swift, just to name a few. Katy’s purrrfect full campaign will debut in spring 2014.
